Holiday Closure - Town Hall / Post Office & Permit Center

Town Hall/Contract Post Office and Permit Center will be closed on Monday, February 15th, in observance of Presidents Day. Police Services will not be affected by this closure. Regular hours will resume the following day. As a reminder, construction, deliveries, and/or servicing is prohibited during this time.

CalTrain Electrification

Caltrain Electrification is a key component of the Caltrain Modernization program which will electrify the Caltrain Corridor from San Francisco's 4th and King Caltrain Station to approximately the Tamien Caltrain Station.

The primary purpose of Caltrain Electrification is to improve Caltrain system performance, reduce long-term environmental impact by reducing noise, improving regional air quality and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. An electrified Caltrain system would better address Peninsula commuters' vision of increased service and improved travel times in an environmentally friendly and reliable way. This also is expected to help accommodate increase system ridership through improved system operations.

CalWater Conservation Kits

CalWater offers single-family residential customers conservation kits featuring a range of water-saving plumbing retrofit fixtures. These kits are available at no charge to help make conserving water that much easier.

Each kit includes:

Two high-efficiency showerheads (use 1.5 gallons per minute [gpm])
One hose nozzle
Two bathroom faucet aerators (use 1.0 gpm)
Toilet leak tablets
One kitchen faucet aerator (uses 1.5 gpm)

Join Menlo College’s Lunar New Year celebration with a free live virtual concert featuring string duo graduates of The Juilliard School. On February 17, 2021 at 5:10 pm, ARKAI will present a genre-defying evening of original composition and arrangements that draw on musical influences from around the world.

ARKAI channels the diversity of the world through genre-bending music, forging new possibilities for what a violin and cello can be. With formal training from The Juilliard School, their past engagements have included performances at The MET Breuer, Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, The Juilliard School, and the 92nd Street Y. Their electronic debut composition, “Letters from COVID,” was recently featured at TED@PMI with a global audience of over 30,000 people from more than 180 countries.
