Accessory Dwelling Units The Town has developed a 4-page Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) brochure to educate residents on all things ADU. This is another step the Town is taking to assist our residents in navigating the process of planning and building your own ADU. To view the brochure click here.

Burglary Prevention Workshop Police Chief Steve McCulley has announced that the Atherton Police Department will host a Burglary Prevention Workshop on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at 7:00 PM at Town Center. More details will be released closer to the event date.

This year's event promises to be a vibrant celebration of our planet, featuring engaging activities, informative booths, and ample opportunities to connect with the community while inspiring action for a sustainable future. "Earth Day is a cherished tradition in Atherton, reminding us of our collective responsibility to protect the environment," said Mayor Diana Hawkins Manuelian. "This year's festival celebrates the theme of action, offering something to inspire everyone to take meaningful steps at home." Election News and Information
Ballot Box Location Atherton As of February 25, 2024 a total of 125 ballots were collected from the Atherton drop box. The Town will report final collection data when it becomes available. You can visit www.smcacre.gov for more information on election news.

Did You Know?Property Taxes were due Feb 1, 2024 and are considered delinquent if payment is not received by 5 PM on April 10, 2024. A 10 percent penalty plus a $40 fine are added if payments are not received by that date. Those will questions should call the San Mateo County Tax Collector at 866.220.0308 |
