San Mateo County Economic Development Association (SAMCEDA)  


The County of San Mateo is partnering with the State's Office of Small Business and Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise Services to provide free technical support to local vendors who are interested in getting certified as a small or micro business.

This will be an informational session to highlight the documentation needed for certification, the process to follow and the support available to local vendors."

The State’s Office of Small Business and Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise Services will share how to become certified and gain access to government contracts.

The virtual event will be held on Thursday, March 27th at 1:00PM.

San Mateo County Supervisor Jackie Speier Town Hall on Wildfire Safety & Immigration Rights 


San Mateo County Supervisor Jackie Speier will host her first town hall of 2025 on Thursday, March 13, in San Bruno.

Supervisor Speier, a former member of Congress who was sworn in as District 1 supervisor in January. wants to understand your thoughts and concerns. 

The town hall will take place at 6 p.m. at San Bruno’s new Recreation and Aquatic Center, 251 City Park Way.

The event includes brief presentations on two pressing issues: wildfire safety and immigration rights.
