Police Department Annual Report

The Police Department released their annual report earlier this year. To review the entire 2024 report - click here.

This report has data and information related to Atherton crime statistics and details about Atherton Police programs and services. Among those programs are;

School Resource Officer, that serves 8 schools and one college in Atherton.
Canine Program, that support a variety of critical functions including suspect apprehension and community engagement.
Drone Program, that has autonomous capabilities with pre-programmed routes to assist with real-time decision making.
License Plate Reading cameras that enhance the ability of our department to monitor, investigate, and solve crimes.
Fingerprinting Scanners that are mobile handheld devices that can scan and transmit data through integrated databases connected to criminal justice databases.
