The Atherton Police Department responded to a possible threat at Menlo-Atherton High School on September 10, 2025. The APD received information from a tip line regarding a threat. To learn more click here.

SMC Public Service Career Fair

The County will host its 2025 Summer Public Service Career Fair on Friday, September 12 from 10 AM - 1 PM at 500 County Center in Redwood City.

SB 1383 Climate Pollutant Reduction Plan

There have been recent changes to expand the list of eligible compost and mulch products. San Mateo County has updated its website with a list of compliant products available locally.
