Fees & Rentals
Groups of 12 people or less do not require a day-use permit. Groups of 13 or more people require a day-use permit.

Fees & Rentals
The Town has a variety of facilities to rent for every occasion. Below is detailed information about the facility, floor plan, and fees for renting.
Day Use Permits
The following Holbrook-Palmer Park Day Use Rental Rules apply:
- Day Use Permits may be authorized up to a maximum of 50 people. These types of rentals are any event that is a non-town vendor event. These include any outdoor organized activities such as gym classes, boot camps, yoga, dance, family gatherings, picnics larger than 12 and up to 50.
- Small outdoor activities (less than 12 people) do not trigger a Day Use Permit.
- Approved use areas only: North Lawn, grass area by Pavilion, Pavilion Patio, Main House Patio, etc.
- The town will not supply chairs or other materials.
- Vendors are not allowed with Day Use Rentals

Day Use permit rules:
- Day use permits are sold on a first come first served basis
- Your email is a REQUEST only.
- No Vendors Allowed - including, but not limited to: bounce house, bubble soccer, caterers, any type of food truck.
- No Alcohol (includes beer & wine)
- You can bring your own food and BBQ grill.
- No refunds
Main House
The Main House is an elegantly designed venue that seamlessly blends classic architecture with modern amenities, making it an ideal choice for your next event. The centerpiece of this space is a 700-square-foot meeting room, featuring a stately fireplace that adds a touch of warmth and sophistication to any gathering. In addition, two smaller rooms are available for breakout sessions or more intimate meetings.
The Main House can accommodate up to 60 guests for a ceremony in the living room or up to 50 guests for a seated dinner with round tables. For more focused engagements, classroom-style seating is available for up to 25 participants.
The venue also boasts a large porch, wide brick steps, and a beautiful oak-shaded patio, offering a serene setting for refreshments or outdoor luncheons. The Main House provides a versatile and inviting atmosphere, ensuring that every event is both professional and memorable.
Proof of Residency is required and must be provided prior to reserving.

Carriage House
The Carriage House, a historical gem within the Park, offers a unique and captivating experience for visitors. Originally built to replace the barn lost to fire in 1896, this timeless structure has preserved its original charm for over a century, featuring sturdy wood floors, vintage windowpanes, intricate moldings, and iron grills in the horse stalls.
This versatile venue is ideal for hosting a variety of events, including classes, dances, meetings, bridge games, and workshops. With seating for up to 70 guests, The Carriage House provides a warm and inviting atmosphere for lunches, dinners, and meetings. For those seeking an outdoor setting, the adjacent Meadow can be reserved in conjunction with the Carriage House, offering the perfect backdrop for open-air events.
Proof of Residency is required and must be provided prior to reserving.

Jennings Pavilion
Constructed in 1977, the Jennings Pavilion was designed to accommodate larger gatherings, making it a premier venue within the Park for weddings, receptions, dinners, meetings, and lectures. Surrounded by large windows, the space offers serene views of stately trees and rolling green lawns, creating an atmosphere of relaxation and elegance.
The Jennings Pavilion can comfortably seat up to 150 guests in a theatre-style arrangement or 50 to 60 in a classroom-style setup. For dining, round tables can accommodate between 120 and 130 guests. The venue is equipped with a spacious kitchen featuring a commercial-sized refrigerator, two home-sized ovens, and a commercial gas range, allowing caterers to serve meals efficiently and with ease.
The adjoining patio is perfect for barbecues and cocktail receptions, while a walkway connects the Pavilion to the Main House and its charming patio area, providing additional space and versatility for your event.

One Day Use Commercial Drone Permits
A $190/day permit is required for Civil UAS operation in the Park pursuant to Atherton Municipal Code § 9.06.060 A.
Required to submit application:
Name and phone number of operator.
Make, model, and serial number or N-number of the UAS.
Proof of Registration, Insurance, and compliance with FAA requirements for Civil UASs.
Description of proposed flight activity including whether filing, taking of images, and/or sound recording will occur.
Payment of $150 application fee.
