The Atherton Police Department is aware of the tsunami warning. All warnings issued by the National Tsunami Warning Center at this point are coast side, and span from Oregon, south to Davenport, CA. If you are on a beach or very near the coast EVACUATE IMMEDIATELY. If you're unable to evacuate, go to higher ground. Stay away from harbors, coastal and low-lying areas.
