Dear Community Members,
This Wednesday, October 8, we’re excited to celebrate national Walk and Roll to School Day! 🚴♀️🚶♂️
Walk and Roll to School Day is part of a nationwide effort to promote safer and more walkable routes to school—while encouraging students and families to experience the joy and benefits of walking or biking together. It’s a great opportunity to strengthen community spirit, build healthy habits, and remind everyone to be alert and share the road safely.
👟 How to participate:
Walk, bike, or roll to school on October 8
Enjoy special activities at participating schools
Celebrate the fun of moving together safely!
The Police Department will have extra patrols that morning to help ensure everyone arrives at school safely. Please slow down, watch for pedestrians and cyclists, and join us in supporting this great event.
📸 Get involved online:
