The Town of Atherton and HIP Housing invite residents to an evening focused on renting Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) and home sharing. This event will bring together home providers, home seekers, and community members to learn, connect, and explore how ADUs can expand housing opportunities in our community.

- Hear local success stories about ADU Matches
- Participate in guided table discussions on ADUs and home sharing
- Enjoy light refreshments and interactive poster activities
- Meet Town and HIP Housing staff at resource tables
To close the evening, participants will have the optional opportunity to join a “speed-mingling” session—giving interested home providers and seekers a chance to meet and talk with 3–4 individuals to explore potential matches. While participation is voluntary, the activity requires sufficient interest to take place, so attendees are encouraged to join if they’d like to help make meaningful connections possible.
While developers and ADU professionals are welcome to attend, this event is primarily designed for home providers and home seekers who want to learn more about each other and about Atherton and HIP Housing’s ADU Match Program.
