Subject: E-Bike Safety Education Class – Join Us!
Dear Atherton Residents:
The Atherton Police Department is pleased to announce a new E-Bike Safety Education Class, offered in partnership with the Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition (SVBC). As e-bikes continue to grow in popularity among riders of all ages, it is more important than ever to ensure everyone in our community is equipped with the knowledge and skills to ride safely.
This class is designed to educate both new and experienced riders on safe riding practices, the rules of the road, and proper e-bike handling techniques. Our goal is to promote a safer environment for cyclists, pedestrians, and drivers alike.

📍 Location: Holbrook Palmer Park, Jennings Pavilion, 150 Watkins Ave, Atherton 94027
🎯 Who Should Attend: E-Bike riders aged 14 and above, parents of young riders, and anyone interested in E-Bike safety
The class will be led by certified instructors from the Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition and will include both a classroom component and an optional hands-on riding segment. Helmets and e-bikes are encouraged for those participating in the practical portion.
