Subject: Arrests Made in Recent Package Theft Cases – Prevention Reminder

The Police Department is pleased to report that three suspects involved in recent residential package thefts have been identified and arrested.  These arrests were made possible through the combined efforts of our officers, the department’s Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR) system, and valuable security camera footage provided by residents.

This case is a reminder of how effective community partnerships can be in addressing crime.  Your vigilance and willingness to share information help us keep our neighborhoods safe.

Package Theft Prevention Tips

To help reduce the chance of becoming a victim, we encourage you to:

Schedule deliveries for times when someone is home, or request delivery to a secure location.

Use lockable parcel boxes or have packages delivered to your workplace, a trusted neighbor, or a designated pick-up point.

Sign up for delivery alerts to know exactly when a package arrives.

Install and maintain security cameras, which not only deter theft but also provide critical evidence.

Report suspicious activity to the Police Department immediately.

We thank all residents who assist by providing video footage and information.  Together, we can continue to make our community safer and send a clear message: package theft will not be tolerated.
