On November 28, 2025, at approximately 3:20pm, there was a burglary attempt at a residence on the unit block of Toyon Rd. The suspect gained entry through a window smash on the north side of the property. The property had security cameras; the suspect was interrupted when the property owner called out to him over the indoor camera, causing the suspect to flee the property. It is unknown if anything was taken. The suspect is an adult male, approximately 5’8”-5’10”, stocky build, unknown hair color, brown eyes, last seen wearing a black baseball hat with white Nike swoosh, black paper medical mask, black zip-up jacket, and black pants.
This incident is under investigation, and no other information is currently available.

- Keep all doors and windows locked, even when you are home.
- When you are not home, making it appear that someone is home by keeping lights on, installing light timers, leaving on the TV or a radio.
- Install exterior lighting.
- Do not keep valuables in your master bedroom as this area is a common target of burglars.
- Keep valuables well-hidden and consider using a safe bolted to the floor and/or wall.
- Keep valuables out of your car and lock your car doors.
