In 2023, the Town of Atherton celebrated its 100th birthday. This is a momentous occasion for our community, and we are excited to share this historic event with all of our residents. Our centennial celebration is a tribute to the people and the stories that have shaped our community's history and have contributed to our success.

The Centennial included two celebrations:

• Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at 6:00 PM: Special Town Council Meeting including a screening of a centennial video celebration and cake. 

• Sunday, September 24, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM: Centennial Celebration at Town Center with exhibits, food, family activities, and 100 - tree giveaway.
