5a. Middlefield Road/Oak Grove Avenue Intersection – Modification of hours for Right-Turn on Red restrictions

This item involves the discussion of the proposed modification of the hours of right-turn on red restrictions at the Middlefield Road/Oak Grove intersection to the hours of 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. This item was referred back to the Transportation Committee by the City Council for confirmation/reconsideration after additional public outreach. A summary of public comments received is provided. The Committee may act to recommend retain or revise the hours associated with the current restrictions at the intersection.

5b.  Neighborhood Traffic Management Action Plan

This item involves the review and discussion of the feedback received on the most recent Neighborhood Traffic Management Action Plan Survey and associated potential mitigation measures, as well as additional traffic management measures. A summary of the Neighborhood Traffic Management Action Plan survey results and public comments received is provided. The Committee may act to recommend and prioritize certain traffic calming devices and mitigation measures for inclusion in the Neighborhood Traffic Management Action Plan and to make recommendations prioritizing devices and measures for implementation through a pilot program.
